In silico ATP Synthase Inhibition Activity and Antibacterial Activity of Selected Essential Oil against Escherichia coli and Resistant Acinetobacter baumannii

The rise in the resistant strains has ignited investigation of ability these essential oils to have an effect against them. aim this study was investigate antibacterial activity clove oil, oregano oil and tea tree Escherichia coli patient isolate Acinetobacter baumannii. Ciprofloxacin used as standard DMSO at 1 % negative control. To understand inhibitory action on ATP synthase, docking analysis done by using Autodock ver. 4.2.6. found out that had potent both E. A. baumannii all recorded zones above 15 mm 20 Tea highest among three essentials with 21.000±0.00 28.500±0.500 respectively. These results support oils. Docking confirmed active constituents selected inhibit synthase enzyme which is a crucial drug target antimicrobial activity. Natural products been center stage research for alternative agents agents.
